Analisis Strategi Fungsional Rumah Sakit Umum dalam Menghadapi Perubahan Lingkungan

This study analyzes the implementation of functional-level strategy in responding to environmental changes at General Hospital.. The research background stems from the hospital’s challenges in maintaining operational effectiveness and service quality amid rapid external shifts such as technological advancement, patient expectations, and regulatory dynamics. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through structured interviews with four hospital staff members in relevant managerial and service roles, supported by secondary data from previous studies. The findings reveal that the hospital’s functional strategies are implemented through enhanced interdepartmental coordination, continuous human resource development, and integrated management information systems to strengthen organizational adaptability. However, challenges remain in resource limitations and resistance to structural change. The study’s implications highlight the importance of flexible organizational design and aligned functional strategies to ensure hospitals can sustain performance and service excellence in a constantly evolving environment.
