Analisis Metafora Dalam Lirik Lagu I’m Already There Karya Lonestar

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai jenis metafora konseptual yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu I'm Already There, serta memahami bagaimana metafora-metafora tersebut merepresentasikan perasaan rindu dan kedekatan emosional dalam konteks hubungan jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan didasarkan pada teori metafora konseptual yang dikemukakan oleh George Lakoff dan Mark Johnson, yang mencakup metafora struktural, ontologis, dan orientasional. Data utama berasal dari transkrip lirik lagu yang diperoleh dari sumber daring resmi. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi ungkapan-ungkapan metaforis, mengklasifikasikan jenis metafora konseptual, serta menafsirkan makna dan implikasi emosional dari setiap metafora yang ditemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya sejumlah metafora konseptual yang menggambarkan kehadiran emosional sebagai sesuatu yang nyata secara fisik, serta menjelaskan perasaan rindu dan cinta sebagai sesuatu yang dapat hadir meskipun secara fisik terpisah. Lagu ini merefleksikan bagaimana bahasa metaforis mampu membangun kedekatan emosional dan menghadirkan kenyamanan psikologis bagi pasangan dalam hubungan jarak jauh. Melalui kekuatan bahasa figuratif, Lonestar berhasil menyampaikan pesan bahwa cinta sejati mampu menembus batas ruang dan waktu.
